HILLMAN OPENS NEW DISTRIBUTION CENTER
Hillman Solutions Corp., a leading provider of hardware products and merchandising solutions, held its official grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration for its new distribution hub in Belton, Missouri, a southern suburb of Kansas City.
The 305,000 square foot facility will serve as the hub operations for the $1.5 billion company. Receiving product via truck and rail from west coast ports, the location will store and ship product to Hillman locations throughout the US. Operating two shifts, five days per week, 85 percent of the US population can be reached within two business days.
“The past 7 months operating in Belton have been a great success, and we are looking forward to all that’s still to come,” Hillman’s Chief Operating Officer, Jon Michael Adinolfi, said. “Belton’s advantageous location and easy access to major highways has made it easier for us to reach our customers and get products on the shelves timely and efficiently. We look forward to many years here and thank all our City and community partners for their support in making this hub come to life.”
Relocating from Rialto, California, Hillman’s new facility has created jobs for more than 100 employees in the Kansas City area. Additionally, a combined 140+ construction and development jobs were instrumental in the project’s creation.
